I have given seminars since 1996. Originally I had given seminars on the topics of sales techniques, communication, financial planning, real estate financing, general securities knowledge, mutual fund basics and motivation. I was an internal trainer and sales manager for AWD for over six years. I usually spoke to groups between 50 and 60 people.

I was also first a manager and later an external sales trainer for the world’s number one hedge fund leader MAN Investments. During my time at MAN Investments I increased the result of the global sales support team in a four months sales cycle from $42 million to $254 million. The team was raising money from financial institutions over 600% more in a period of one year.

I have owned my own sales organization and taught regular sales people who to sell private equity products to private clients. There was always an average of 25 sales people in my organization.

I have built up a sales team of about ten sales people for a FINRA licensed broker dealer in California. I have trained them and taught them everything they needed to know to get licensed for a Series 7 and 63.

My father is a professor in psychology and professional seminar trainer. I attended various seminars at a very early age (14 years) and followed his footsteps in this area.

Norman Meier has been an investment professional since 1995. He has held executive positions with top-tier global investment firms such as MAN Investments and AWD in Switzerland, and Canaccord Capital Corporation in Canada.
